Waste audits for The Correspondence School
In 2007, The Correspondence School contracted Waste Not Consulting to undertake an audit of waste generated at their three offices in Wellington. The aim of the project was to gather data on waste generation to fullfill their reporting requirements for the Govt3 programme. Recommendations for the development and implementation of a comprehensive recycling system throughout the three buildings was also provided.
On completion of the audit report, Waste Not provided a presentation of the audit results and recommendations to The Correspondence School staff.
In 2008, following the implementation of an enhanced recycling system, Waste Not undertook a follow up waste audit, to gauge the effect of the new system, and provide updated data for the Govt3 programme.
The results of this audit were very positive, and highlighted the success of the new recycling systems.
